My name is Tammy. I am originally from Chicago Illinois. I moved to North Dallas in 2012 when my husband was promoted In his company. I have three amazing children and a beautiful granddaughter that I am 100% devoted to. I have grown up in a dental atmosphere all my life - I began working at a dental office that my Mom was manager at for 30 years. I started working in 2000 as a Hygeine assistant. I basically helped clean rooms and do anything the hygienist needed me to do. I then began working the front desk with my Mom learning everything from confirming appointments to verifying insurance. I would later take my Mom’s position as manager. Then in 2010 I was offered the position of Manager at a local dental lab that we used. At that time the dentist. I was working for was in the midst of retiring. I took the position to experience the other side of the dental world. While working at the lab, I learned hands on of what happens when a patient needs a crown or partial, or even a night guard. I feel it's a very important part of the business to understand the process of a lab case as well as what the patient needs. As we packed our house up to move across country in 2012. I ultimately decided I loved the interaction with the patients too much to go back into the lab. I love my job as an Office Administrator. It is very rewarding and humbling and I couldn't see myself doing anything else. We have a great team at our office. We all have great relationships and it feels like my second family.
